Sample risk report holdings page: portfolio value, top holdings and allocation by holding

A risk report that starts with the holdings

The sample report opens with the portfolio itself: its value, the ten largest positions, top-five concentration and allocation by holding.

It is the free Risk Snapshot, run on an illustrative 18-holding portfolio prepared for a sample client.

Risk measures in percent and in money

Volatility, maximum drawdown, 1-day value at risk, expected shortfall, Sharpe ratio and beta each carry a one-line explanation a client can follow.

The dollar figures at the top show what the percentages mean for this portfolio, and the drawdown chart shows how today's mix would have behaved over the past year.

An investment proposal you can still edit

The sample proposal compares a five-holding portfolio with an advisor-created model. It covers current versus proposed risk, potential downside in dollars, sector and instrument shifts, growth of 100 against SPY, and the methodology and disclosures.

Every section can be edited before export to Word (DOCX), or delivered as a PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Is the sample based on a real client?

No. The sample report and proposal use illustrative holdings, names and a sample model. They show the layout and content of the output, not the results of any real client portfolio.

Can I see the report for my own portfolio?

Yes. The free Risk Snapshot emails a five-page risk report for a CSV or Excel file of up to 100 holdings, with no account needed. Proposal Builder is part of the Pro and Enterprise plans.

Which formats can a proposal be exported to?

Word (DOCX), so you can keep editing the narrative, tables and disclosures outside the platform, and PDF for delivery.

Which plan includes Proposal Builder?

Pro includes Proposal Builder with 300 proposals, company branding and Word export. Enterprise includes unlimited proposals.

Does the report or proposal make recommendations?

No. Genesis Risk Monitor provides the analysis and the document. The model, the recommendation and suitability stay with the advisor.

Analysis that supports your judgment, not a replacement for it

Genesis Risk Monitor provides the analytical evidence for the portfolio conversation. Model selection, recommendations, and suitability remain with the advisor.
